The J100 and mud
The 100 Series is a big, heavy vehicle, and when it gets stuck in the woods it really gets stuck. When another vehicle has to pull you out from behind, the shackle mount points are there and the pull goes through the 5 mm frame mounts straight into the chassis – which is exactly where all the force goes when pulling or taking a hit.
A hi-lift raises the rear when a wheel drops into a hole. The surface is shot blasted and epoxy primed, topped with a fine-texture matt black powder coat, and the bolts are stainless.
Installation
Mounting hardware is included. The bumper bolts to the chassis and comes off when needed. Shackle mounts are not included – you can add them from the options.
Delivery
It is too big for a parcel locker, so the bumper comes as palletised freight.
If the manufacturer does not have it in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
The bumper is not homologated, and fitting it is a modification to the vehicle's construction – before using it on public roads, check the Estonian Transport Administration's registration requirements.
