We use DPD Estonia services and various parcel lockers for delivery. You can also collect your goods yourself in Tartu, where our warehouse is located. 14-day right of return

Under the Law of Obligations Act, a consumer may withdraw from a contract concluded by means of distance communication within 14 days. For goods ordered from the JR Motors e-shop, the period begins on the day the goods are handed over to the consumer. A consumer is a natural person who has bought goods or a service from the JR Motors e-shop that is not related to their business or professional activity.

By buying from the JR Motors e-shop, the consumer agrees to the following conditions for exercising the right of return: 

1. Returned goods must be unused and in their original packaging.
The JR Motors e-shop applies the principle of reasonableness when determining use, meaning that if the product has to be used to establish whether it is suitable, it is considered unused.
The consumer must open the product's original packaging carefully and without damaging it. If the packaging cannot be opened, the returned product does not have to be in its original packaging.

2. To exercise the right of return, the consumer must submit a request to the JR Motors e-shop at sales(at)jrmotors.ee no later than 14 days after receiving the goods

3. The consumer bears the cost of returning the goods, unless the product being returned did not match the consumer's order.

4. On withdrawal from the contract, the consumer must return the purchased item without delay, and no later than 30 days after giving notice of withdrawal.

5. JR Motors OÜ undertakes to refund the consumer the amount paid for the returned goods without delay, and no later than 30 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal.

6. The 14-day right of return does not apply to the following goods:

- products made to the customer's personal specifications

- tyres that have been used

Please note! The 14-day right of return does not apply to goods that the consumer collects in person from the JR Motors office, or to goods bought on hire purchase that are handed over to the customer at the JR Motors office after the hire purchase agreement has been concluded.

If any condition set by the JR Motors e-shop makes it harder for the consumer to withdraw from the contract than the Law of Obligations Act allows, that condition is void.

The 14-day right of return is established by law and is not a special feature of the JR Motors e-shop.

Warranty

JR Motors OÜ passes on the manufacturer's warranty for the goods it sells. The warranty entitles the buyer, during the warranty period, to demand free repair or replacement of the item. The warranty is valid within the territory of the Republic of Estonia.

Inspection - an inspection carried out by the JR Motors OÜ service department (in some cases also by the product's manufacturer) to establish whether the product has a defect and what caused it.

Independent inspection - an additional paid inspection carried out by an independent expert at the customer's request if the customer is not satisfied with the results of the inspection carried out by JR Motors OÜ.

The warranty covers the cost of repairing design, manufacturing and material defects and any damage to the device caused by those defects.

The warranty period starts when the item is handed over to the buyer and lasts until the end of the period set by the manufacturer.

As a rule, the warranty period is 1 year. The period for submitting a claim is 2 years.

JR Motors OÜ is not liable for: 

- failure to remedy product defects if the defect did not appear during warranty repair and its occurrence was not recorded when the product was brought in for warranty repair. 

During the warranty period given by the manufacturer/seller, the customer may submit a claim to JR Motors OÜ regarding circumstances, caused by quality defects of the goods, that prevent the goods from being used or stored for their intended purpose. Consumer claims are resolved in accordance with the applicable legislation. 

The claim must be submitted in Estonian and must describe the product's defect as clearly as possible. 

A consumer claim will not be upheld if JR Motors OÜ proves that the defects in the goods arose through the consumer's fault. 

At the customer's request, JR Motors OÜ is obliged to carry out an inspection or, if necessary, commission an independent inspection to establish the cause of a defect in the item. If the inspection shows that the part is in working order or the defect is not covered by the warranty, the customer pays the inspection costs. 

Costs arising from devices brought in for warranty service without cause (if the fault was not caused by a manufacturing defect, or the product's warranty conditions have been breached) are paid by the buyer (applies only if 6 months have passed since the item was handed over to the consumer) . 

In such a case, JR Motors OÜ has the right to invoice the customer for the work carried out so far at 29EUR/h + VAT, plus any other costs (transport, external inspection, etc.) 

Warranty replacement. If the product cannot be repaired, or it has been discontinued, JR Motors OÜ reserves the right (with the customer's consent) to replace the product with an equivalent one. 

If the device is repaired during the warranty period, the (sales) warranty is extended by the duration of the repair. 

The sales warranty does not exclude or limit the buyer's right to use other legal remedies arising from law or contract. 

The JR Motors OÜ warranty conditions comply with the legislation of the Republic of Estonia. 

 

Claims procedure

Products sold by JR Motors OÜ are subject to the 2-year period for submitting claims laid down in § 218(2) of the Law of Obligations Act.

If you chose Prepayment invoice as your payment method, a prepayment invoice will be sent to you by email, which we ask you to pay within 5 days. If the prepayment invoice is not paid within 5 days, we will take this as your wish to cancel the purchase and will cancel your order.
