Behind the Vitara V6
The V6 Vitara is a light and nimble car, but when it gets stuck somewhere you need a solid point at the back to pull it out from. The frame mounts on this bumper are cut from 5 mm plate and go straight onto the chassis, so a strap on a shackle mount pulls the frame, not the body.
The hi-lift points are built into the bumper – you can lift the rear without fiddling about with the body. Shot blasting and epoxy primer under the powder coat keep rust away, and the stainless bolts will not leave brown streaks on the paint.
Installation
Mounting hardware is included and the bumper can be taken off when needed. Shackle mounts are not included – you can add them from the options.
Delivery
The rear bumper is large and heavy, so it comes as palletised freight – it will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer does not have it in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
The bumper is not homologated. Fitting it is a modification to the vehicle's construction – before using it on public roads, check the Estonian Transport Administration's registration requirements.
