Toyota Hilux IX Travo (4TREX) from 2026. Protection is done With 2.8 diesel engine and manual transmission version – the manufacturer calls this combination. This protection is not intended for cars with other engines or automatic transmissions.

On a rocky path
The new Hilux is ready for off-roading, but the engine bay is still the first place to hit a rock or stump. The 6mm aluminum will absorb the impact and the crankcase will remain intact. The plate is lighter than steel, so the front end doesn't feel the extra weight much.
If you ride on forest roads or rocky trails, it's cheaper than repairing the engine after the first wrong tire track.
Aluminum doesn't rust, so salty winter roads and wet mud won't damage the disc. During maintenance, the protection simply needs to be removed and replaced afterwards.
Installation
All necessary fasteners are included. The guard snaps on and off without much effort, so it can be removed for maintenance.
