On a rocky path

The Quartermaster is a long pickup truck that can get hit in the belly on rocky trails and high brush in ruts. The 6mm aluminum is thick enough to slide a rock over the plate, and the crankcase and lower engine parts remain intact.

The plate is laser cut, press-bent and hand-finished so that the mounting holes match those on the car. Aluminum doesn't rust and is lighter than steel, so the front end of the car doesn't sag or become heavy. A stone mark on the plate is better than a crack in the crankcase.

The engine is the first thing to hit on a rocky trail because it sits up front and low. If you often ride over rocks or deep ruts, this plate is something you should put down before anything else.

Installation

All mounting hardware is included. The plate is easy to remove if work needs to be done under the engine.
