Canister out
The J105 diesel goes a long way, but on a long expedition, an extra 20 liters is still useful. The canister in the basket on the handlebars doesn't stink in the cabin or take up any luggage space. It's quick to get to.
The basket is laser cut and CNC-bent from 4 mm steel, the final finish is done by hand. The corrosion protection is zinc powder primer and fine-structure matte black RAL 9005 powder paint, the bolts are stainless. The metal canister itself is heavy and the full canister is even heavier, so the basket must be rigid - 4 mm steel is. The basket only attaches to the F4X4 bar, it does not fit the original bar.
Installation
All mounting hardware is included, the basket bolts to the F4X4 bar. The manufacturer also offers other RAL colors.
