What it gives you

The Patrol is heavy and if it hits a rock, it hits it hard. The gearbox is one of the most expensive things under the car to hit. The 6mm aluminum plate spreads the impact over a wider area and the car slides over the rock. The plate is light, so it doesn't require two people to remove it for maintenance.

The laser-cut and bent plate is hand-finished to fit the Y61/GU4 precisely. Aluminum does not rust.
