The XJ and rocky trails
The Cherokee XJ is still one of the most popular off-road projects, but the factory bumper will not carry a winch. This one will: the winch sits inside on 5 mm steel and the mount is tied to the frame so that even a sideways pull will not start to twist it. If the car ends up on a rock, you lift the front end from the two hi-lift holes.
The bull bar protects the headlights and grille from branches. Without it the front end is lighter and shorter, so you can also leave it in the garage.
The light holes are ready in the bumper, and you can pick suitable lights straight from the options. You can see all our lights here– ask us what else is available.
The bumper is shot blasted and epoxy primed, the bull bar zinc powder primed, and all the bolts are stainless.
Installation
All mounting hardware is included; the bumper and bull bar bolt on and both can be removed. Shackle mounts and lights are not included, you can add them from the options.
Delivery
Big and heavy goods – we send it as palletised freight, it will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer does not have it in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
Fitting the bumper and bull bar is a modification to the vehicle – check the Estonian Transport Administration registration requirements before using it on public roads.
