The Patrol and the winch
The GU4 Patrol is a heavy car and once it is stuck in the mud, a shovel won't help. A 5 mm steel winch mount is built into the bumper and the bumper is properly fixed to the chassis, so an angled pull will not twist the mount or damage the winch or the car.
Use the shackle mount points to pull the car out or help someone else, and the hi-lift points to lift the front end out of the mud. There is 4 mm steel up front, not plastic – a stump or a rock won't break the radiator any more.
Before powder coating the bumper is shot blasted and epoxy primed. Stainless steel bolts won't rust in, so the bumper still comes off years later.
Installation
All mounting hardware is included, the bumper bolts to the chassis and can be taken off when needed. Shackle mounts are not included, you can add them from the options.
Delivery
Because of its size and weight the bumper comes as palletised freight, it will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer does not have it in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
Fitting the bumper is a modification to the vehicle – check the Estonian Transport Administration registration requirements before using it on public roads.
