Old Disco, new nose
The Discovery I is a body-on-frame car that is worth using in the woods, but the old bumper has usually had its day. The new bumper has a 5 mm steel winch mount that is tied to the chassis through the frame mounts – so an angled pull will not twist the mount and neither the winch nor the car gets damaged.
The shackle mount points are there when you need to pull someone out or get pulled out yourself. Two hi-lift points let you lift the front end.
The light holes are ready in the bumper, and you can pick suitable lights straight from the options. You can see all our lights here– ask us what else is available.
Shot blasting and epoxy primer under the powder coat mean that a stone chip won't bring rust through straight away.
Installation
All fitting hardware is in the kit, the bumper bolts to the chassis and is removable. Shackle mounts and lights are not included, you can add them from the options.
Delivery
The bumper is too big and heavy for a parcel locker, it comes as palletised freight.
If the manufacturer does not have it in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
The bumper is not homologated. Fitting a front bumper is a modification to the vehicle – check the Estonian Transport Administration registration requirements before using it on public roads.
