Use

A snorkel doesn't make a car waterproof. The axles, transmission, and wiring have to handle themselves in deep water. But the air intake is usually the first place water gets into the engine, and that problem is solved.

When driving in snow and mud in winter and spring, the air intake is protected from splashes.

Installation

Installation involves cutting a hole in the wing and drilling mounting holes in the pillar. There is no installation template included, measure and mark the holes yourself. Seal the pipe and air filter connections with sealant, otherwise the engine will suck water from the connection.
