Winches: how powerful a winch do you need?

A mounting plate is the cheapest way to get a winch on your car if you don't want a new front bumper. The plate attaches to the frame and the winch stays inside the front.

Material: mostly 6 mm steel, powder coated.
Cars: Hilux, Ranger and Ranger Raptor, Navara, Jimny, Patrol, Pajero Sport, Land Cruiser, Amarok, L200, D-Max.
Ranger Raptor 2023+: plate with ACC radar conversion kit so that adaptive cruise control remains operational.
