Snorkel

Snorkel raises the engine air intake to roof height. On dusty gravel roads and in the field, the dust stays below and the air filter lasts longer, and when driving in water, the air intake does not draw water into the engine.

Each snorkel is made for a specific model and generation. To install, a hole is cut into the wing and mounting holes are drilled in the pillar, most kits come with an installation template.
