Behind the Discovery
The Discovery II's long rear overhang tends to catch the ground off road. The steel bumper stands up to rocks and stumps and, through a shackle mount, gives you a point to pull the vehicle out from behind. When the rear wheels need to come out of a hole, you raise the rear end with a hi-lift and put something underneath.
The parts are laser cut and bent on a CNC press brake, with the final fit done by hand. Before painting the surface is shot blasted and epoxy primed, and the bolts are stainless steel.
Installation
All mounting hardware is included and the bumper bolts to the frame, coming off when needed. Shackle mounts are not included, and you can add them from the options.
Delivery
The item is bulky and heavy and comes as palletised freight. It will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer has none in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
Adding a rear bumper is a modification to the vehicle, so check the Estonian Transport Administration's registration requirements before taking it on public roads.
