On the trail
The TJ's short rear climbs well, but on a steep descent it still touches down at the back, and then it is better to have 4 mm steel there. Hi-lift points are proper Jeeper kit: lift the back up and get the wheel off the rock. If someone has to pull you out from behind there is a shackle mount point, and the 5 mm frame mounts keep the bumper in place during the pull.
The bumper is laser cut, bent on a CNC press brake and hand finished, so it sits on the frame accurately. Under the powder coat is shot blasting and epoxy primer, and the bolts are stainless steel.
Installation
All mounting hardware is included and the bumper bolts to the frame; it can come off again when needed. Shackle mounts are not included; you can add them from the options.
Delivery
Because of its size and weight it comes as palletised freight, it will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer does not have it in stock, the bumper is made within 2 weeks.
Fitting a rear bumper is a modification to the vehicle. Check the Estonian Transport Administration's registration requirements before using it on public roads.
