Big wheel behind the car
A larger off-road tire won't fit in the factory spare tire and takes up space in the trunk. A holder attached to the modular shoulder moves the spare tire to the back of the car. A gas spring helps open and close the wheel even when the car is on an incline. The holder takes the weight on itself, so the trunk lid hinges don't have to bear the weight of the large tire, and the design prevents vibrations and noise from being transmitted to the cabin.
The surface treatment is zinc powder primer and powder paint, standard color RAL 9005 matte black. If desired, the holder can also be ordered in another RAL color to match the car or other equipment.
Installation
All mounting hardware is included. Hi-lift holder not included, although it appears so in the photos. The product does not have a type approval. The product may differ in some details from the one shown in the photo.
