Putting the pickup's rear end to work
The back of a Hilux often gets hit in the woods, be it a ditch edge, a rock or a tall stump while reversing. The steel bumper takes the knock and at the same time gives you places to lift the car or pull it out with a strap. The tow hitch is in the set, so towing a trailer stays possible, and the LED lights come with the bumper.
Before painting, the surface is shot blasted and given an epoxy primer, and the mounting bolts are stainless steel.
Installation
The fitting hardware is included and the bumper bolts on; it can be taken off when needed. Shackle mounts are not in the set, you can add them from the options.
Delivery
The long rear bumper is bulky and heavy and travels as palletised freight. It will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer has none in stock right away, the bumper is made within 2 weeks.
Fitting a rear bumper counts as a vehicle modification, so check the Estonian Transport Administration's registration requirements before taking it on public roads.
