A stronger rear for the D-Max
S700 is a high-strength steel, so a 3 mm sheet holds up without making the bumper too heavy. The towbar comes with it, so towing a trailer or a boat carries on as before. If you get stuck at the back off road, there is a shackle mount point for a strap, and the two hi-lift points let you raise the rear end when a back wheel is in a hole.
The surface is shot blasted and epoxy primed before powder coating, and the bolts are stainless steel.
Installation
All mounting hardware, including the towbar, is included; the bumper bolts to the frame and comes off when needed. Shackle mounts are not included; you can add them from the options.
Delivery
Because of its size and weight, the bumper comes as palletised freight and will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer does not have it in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
Fitting a rear bumper is a modification to the vehicle – look over the Estonian Transport Administration's registration requirements before using it on public roads.
