Why short
A short rear bumper leaves the rear corner clearer, and coming down a steep slope the rear end does not hit the ground as easily. The thicker steel is exactly where the load goes: the frame mounts are 5 mm, so when the vehicle is pulled out from behind via a shackle mount or lifted from a hi-lift point, the bumper stays put.
The lights are built into the bumper and come in the box.
Under the powder coat is shot blasting and epoxy primer, and the bolts are stainless steel.
Installation
The mounting hardware and lights are included; the bumper bolts to the frame and can be removed when needed. Shackle mounts are not included; you can add them from the options.
Delivery
It will not fit in a parcel locker – the bumper comes as palletised freight.
If the manufacturer has none in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
Fitting the bumper is a modification to the vehicle – check the Estonian Transport Administration's registration requirements before driving on public roads.
