The reducer is low.

The transfer case, or gearbox, hangs low under the J100 and is the first thing to get hit on a rocky track. An impact can crack the housing and oil will leak out. A 6mm aluminum plate provides protection from below without making the car much heavier.

The plate is laser cut and bent, and finally hand-fitted. The cover is removable, so that oil changes and maintenance of the transfer case are not complicated. 6 mm aluminum withstands stones and mud that come across on the tracks. The product may differ in some details from the photo.

The protection is designed for the J100 with a gasoline engine and automatic transmission. The manufacturer does not mention compatibility with diesel or manual transmission cars, so check before ordering.

Installation

All fasteners are included and the plate can be removed if necessary.
