Under the belly

Once you've put the F4X4 undercarriage down, the engine bay is often left exposed. This plate closes the gap and protects the engine if the Navara hits a rock or stump head-on. Aluminum is lighter than steel, so the front suspension doesn't have to bear the extra weight.

The plate is laser cut and bench bent, with a hand-finished finish. 6 mm aluminum protects the engine from rocks, mud, and other obstacles. Since it is removable, you can access the engine during oil changes. The manufacturer notes that the product does not have type approval and may differ from the photo in some details.

The protection is made under the front bumper of the F4X4 doublecab. If the car has a factory bumper, it is worth asking if it will fit before ordering.

Installation

All fasteners are included and the guard can be removed for maintenance.
