Why is this needed?

The Pajero transfer case hangs in the middle of the car and is the first to hit a high-pitched rut. A dented or broken gearbox means the four-wheel drive is gone. The 6 mm aluminum plate takes the hit.

Everything needed for mounting is included. The protection can be removed if necessary.
