Under the belly

The transmission sits in the middle of the pickup truck, right where the brush or stump meets the road. A cracked crankcase means oil on the ground and the car in the woods. An aluminum plate keeps it out and keeps the car light.

The plate is laser cut, press-bent and hand finished so it fits the D-Max frame without any modifications. The 6mm aluminium will not rust and weighs less than the same protection in steel. If you already have an engine protection, this plate will cover the next section under the belly.

The aluminium plate is a good choice for those who drive their D-Max in the forest, quarry or on rocky beaches. The protection is easy to remove when the gearbox oil is due for a change or other maintenance and can be easily put back on afterwards.

Installation

All mounting hardware is included. The guard simply comes off when work needs to be done on the gearbox.
