Big wheel, healthy souls
If you put larger wheels on the Discovery, the spare wheel will no longer fit under it or it will become too heavy on the tailgate. The holder carries the wheel itself and the hinges of the tailgate are free from the load. A gas spring helps to open the holder even on sloping surfaces.
The holder is laser cut and CNC bent from 4 mm steel sheet. Zinc powder primer and powder paint keep rust away. The structure does not transfer vibrations to the cabin, so the wheel does not rattle behind. The standard color is matte black RAL 9005, other RAL color on request.
Installation
All mounting hardware is included. The holder attaches to the original bar. The Hi-lift mount must be purchased separately.
