Why does a tank need protection?

The Quartermaster is a long pickup truck, and the tank will take a direct hit when you go over a rock or stump. A dented or cracked tank means the trip is over. The 6mm aluminum takes the hit and the car slides over.

The plate is laser-cut and formed on a bending machine, then hand-finished to fit snugly under the tank. When the Grenadier goes down a rocky forest road or into a gravel pit, the tank is covered and no rocks or stumps can reach it. Aluminum doesn't rust and keeps the weight of the car low. The plate can be removed for maintenance and then replaced later.

Installation

The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware. The guard bolts on and can be easily removed if necessary. The product may differ in some details from the picture.
