In the woods and the mud
Not everything goes forwards. Sometimes it is easier to pull the truck back out the way it went in, and then you need somewhere to attach a strap – that is what the shackle mount points on the rear bumper are for. The bumper is 4 mm plate on 5 mm frame mounts, so a rock or a stump at the back will not break it, and the two hi-lift points let you raise the rear end quickly.
Shot blasting and epoxy primer under the powder coat keep rust away even on salted winter roads, and the bolts are stainless steel.
Installation
The mounting hardware is included; the bumper bolts to the frame and comes off when needed. Shackle mounts are not included, and you can add them from the options.
Delivery
The bumper is large and heavy – it comes as palletised freight and will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer has none in stock, production takes 2 weeks.
Fitting a rear bumper is a modification to the vehicle, so check the Estonian Transport Administration's registration requirements before taking it on public roads.
