Use

When driving on dusty gravel roads, in the fields, or in convoys, the factory air intake sucks in dust from the car in front. The air is cleaner at roof height, and the air filter lasts longer.

When driving in water, the air intake stays high. Water in the air filter means water hammer and a broken engine, not just a wet filter.

Installation

To install the snorkel, you need to cut an air hole in the wing and drill mounting holes in the A-pillar. The installation template in the kit shows where to cut and drill. You will need a drill, hole saw and sealant for the job.
