The Y61 and the winch
The Y61 is a heavy vehicle, and once it sinks into soft ground a shovel and good intentions won't get it out. The winch sits on a 5 mm steel mount inside the bumper, and the bumper is bolted to the chassis with frame mounts of the same thickness, so even on an angled pull the load stays on the frame and the mount doesn't twist and damage the winch or the vehicle. The two hi-lift points let you raise the front when a wheel needs to come out of a hole.
Under the powder coat the bumper is shot blasted and epoxy primed, and the bolts are stainless. If black isn't your colour, it can be ordered in another RAL shade.
Installation
All mounting hardware comes in the kit, the bumper bolts to the chassis and can be removed if needed. Shackle mounts are not included – you can add them from the options.
Delivery
A large, heavy item – it comes as palletised freight and will not fit in a parcel locker.
If the manufacturer has none in stock at the moment, production takes 2 weeks.
Fitting the bumper is a modification to the vehicle – check the Estonian Transport Administration registration requirements before using it on public roads.
