Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, first generation, years 2000-2008. This product does not have type approval. The plate is designed for a vehicle where you want a winch without fitting a steel bumper.

A winch without a new bumper

If a steel bumper isn't on the cards but you want a winch, a winch mounting plate is the simpler solution. The 6 mm plate gives the winch a solid base. That way the Pajero Sport can pull itself out of the mud or recover another stuck vehicle.

The plate is laser cut, bent on a press brake and given its final shape by hand. Electro-galvanised zinc under the powder coat keeps rust away even when the winch cable scratches the paint off. The standard colour is fine-texture matt black RAL 9005, but the plate can also be ordered in another RAL colour. The kit does not include the winch itself – the manufacturer lists only the plate and fixings.
