The 6 mm aluminum plate will absorb the impact and the car will slide over. A scratched plate is cheaper than a broken crankcase.<\/p>\n<p>Aluminum does not rust and is lighter than steel.<\/p>\n<p>The plate is laser cut, bent and hand finished to fit snugly under the F4X4&#039;s bars and engine. If the Pajero is frequently driven on rocky trails or in the woods where stumps are hidden in moss, the impact will be on the plate. Without protection, it would be absorbed by the crankcase or the lower engine parts.<\/p>\n<h2>Installation<\/h2>\n<p>All mounting hardware is included. The guard can be installed and removed for maintenance if necessary. The product does not have a type approval.
