The automatic transmission and transfer case are the most expensive parts on the bottom of the car that can get hit by a rock. 6 mm of aluminum is between them and the ground.<\/p>\n<p>If the belly lands on a rock, the plate will slip over, not the crankcase.<\/p>\n<p>The plate is laser cut and bent, and the finish is hand-finished to fit the bottom of the Raptor without wobble. Aluminum doesn&#039;t rust and is lighter than steel. 6mm is thick enough that landing on a rock won&#039;t bend the plate against the transmission. This is more important than ever on a Raptor with its suspension that allows for faster speeds. What does it give you? You can ride through rocky trails without having to worry about every rock.<\/p>\n<h2>Installation<\/h2>\n<p>All mounting hardware is included.
