A rock hitting the differential housing could break a seal or more. The steel guard absorbs the impact and slides over the obstacle.<\/p>\n<p>The cover is laser cut and bent on a press brake, finished by hand to fit precisely on the bridge mounts. The steel provides more cushion when taking a hit than thinner sheet metal.<\/p>\n<h2>Installation<\/h2>\n<p>All mounting parts are included, the protection is removable.
