The 6mm aluminum will absorb the impact and the crankcase will remain intact. The plate is lighter than steel, so the front end doesn&#039;t feel the extra weight much.<\/p>\n<p>If you ride on forest roads or rocky trails, it&#039;s cheaper than repairing the engine after the first wrong tire track.<\/p>\n<p>Aluminum doesn&#039;t rust, so salty winter roads and wet mud won&#039;t damage the disc. During maintenance, the protection simply needs to be removed and replaced afterwards.<\/p>\n<h2>Installation<\/h2>\n<p>All necessary fasteners are included.
