Warn VRX 45-S \u2013 2041 kg pulling capacity, synthetic rope 15 m \u00d7 6.3 mm, gear ratio 198:1. On the first layer it spools in at 4.9 m\/min with no load and 1.3 m\/min at full load. The VRX is Warn's ATV and UTV winch, based on its 4WD hub lock free spool technology: IP68 sealing, all-metal gearbox and a mechanical load brake.<\/p>\n
The motor, gearbox and pulling capacity are the same on both versions. The difference is in the rope, the fairlead and the weight.<\/p>\n

It is always advisable to place a \"damper\" that absorbs kinetic energy in the middle of the winch line in case the line snaps while winching. Keep at least 5 wraps on the drum, plus one more turn over those five \u2013 with both cable and rope. This anchors the line firmly to the drum.<\/p>\n |
