Use

When driving on dusty gravel roads and in traffic, the dust stays below, and the air filter lasts longer.

When driving in water, the air intake is high. Water in the engine means water hammer and repairs, not just a wet filter.

Installation

To install, you need to cut an air intake hole in the wing and drill the mounting holes, this is the final modification. The template in the kit shows where to cut and drill. Carefully seal the connections so that water and dust cannot get through. The installation instructions are below in PDF format. The work will take a couple of hours for an experienced person, but if you are doing it for the first time, expect half a day.
